Dustin grew up in Tonganoxie, Kansas where he graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 2002. After high school, he attended Manhattan Christian College where he played on the Men’s soccer team. He was part of two national championship soccer teams in 2005 and 2007. He graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees: one in Biblical Studies and one in Management and Ethics.

After college he began working for a local construction company that specialized in street, sidewalk, and storm drainage improvements. This is where Dustin learned to operate excavation equipment. We worked there from fall of 2007 to the fall of 2010. It was during this time that he met the love of his life, Jessica Crosby.

After getting to know Jessica, her family, and her family's business, Crosby Plumbing Inc., he found the place that God wanted him to be. He knew nothing about residential and commercial plumbing at that time but could excavate. His father-in-law, Mike Crosby, taught him everything about plumbing. Dustin earned his Master Plumber License in 2014.

He married his best friend, Jessica in April of 2011. They now have three beautiful girls: Tinley, Paisley, and Brinley. They have lived in Bonner Springs, KS, since 2016. Outside of the business, they are actively involved in church at Mill Creek Community Church in Shawnee, KS. They also spend their evenings and weekends at volleyball and gymnastics events. They also enjoy taking family vacations, pulling their camper all over the country.

Dustin also enjoys hunting and fishing with family and friends and has recently added a new hobby of bee keeping.
